We are crazy about GMC motorhome and looking for a specific one. Watched all the sites for months now without luck. Anyone thinking of selling an Eleganza (or Palm Beach) coach in the Florida area, please let me know..... The one we are looking for: Must haves: 455 engine - double bed in rear and at least 1 couch/bunk bed in front and original wood. Nice to haves: coach with already as new exterior but with the original gold tufted interior and awnings. Would love to hear from you.

Geographically, *where* would you like to focus your search? They show up all over the US & Can, but some areas -Pacific NW, Southern California, Arizona, Florida- have more activity. Strategically, finding one nearby can save you hundreds/thousands in recovery costs.

You didn't mention price range. Here's one like you describe for $22k

Focus (as mentioned) on the Florida area so I can do the rest at Jim Bounds.

Thanks for all who are taking the effort to read and answer my post! I did not mention price range yet because it depends ... (looks - taste and how many qualitative updates it already has). I am not so keen on coaches who are updated by the owners itself (sorry..but I just feel more comfortable at a good name in the GMC world). Some of the coaches have 100k invested at an expert shop (!) and selling it for 39k. If that has our taste? Yeah we take it. So its between 15-40k I would say. I have been threw the craigslist, gmcmh, gmcclassics, gmccoop, gmcw marketplace and GMC my bird feeder. So I think all of the coaches advertised in one of these, I have seen already. So I am hoping to find someone new who did not put the coach up for sale yet or someone who advertised somewhere else.

I have a 1977 Palm Beach with dbl bed in rear, rt side wet bath & dining, driver's side bunk beds.
It's in San Diego - Is VERY tired. Has been in long term storage.

Am giving up the ghost - and the Happy Fantasies of making it gorgeous. I just can't do it.

When it was parked - everything worked - long time ago.
Have just put new tires n new batteries. Inside is no longer as pretty/i.e., tired also.
It's all original I believe though I bought it 2nd hand. I made no changes to it.

If you still have the GMC Palm Beach in San Diego, I would be interested in discussing it with you.

Thanks,
