Also, modern height sensors are readily available. In fact the EL II system used modern optical sensors that are still readilly available on millions of GM cars before they went to communication through the buss. The connectors have changed but I recall that Dave M had figured out which newer connectors were which. These sensors do not need relays and power the compressors directly. Regardless of what Jim B may say, the EL II system is the most reliable of all and only had 1 tube to each side.
