I have several standard 455 Oldsmobile blocks and cranks. Purchase one of these for your rebuild and build it concurrently while you continue to drive your GMC. Most all rebuilders will to sell you a block and crankshaft that have been machined over and over because they have run out of standard sized cores. These are all standard blocks and cranks. You just have to make sure you get the same core back and no exchange. $450 each. Some may not even need machine work! You will save that on your core charge. No shipping. Local pickup only San Diego area.
