I really like the old furnace- a cozy pilot light, no circuit board, simple.

I think it would work another 20 years but the mud daubers killed the motor.

Any NT series motor will work, i think.

Be carreful with these old furnaces. The exhaust heat exchangers typically rust through and start leaking carbon monixide. You could wake up dead! Best bet is spring for a nice new Suburban and not mess with it.

Dying in my coach? SOunds good.

Seriously, I have a nearly new Atwood and I have the old beast. 40 years later I'm certain the old one has more metal remaining between me and the carbon monoxide.

In this particular furnace, the metal box is shiny, virtually unused, no rust.

Dave

If you can't find a new motor your local motor rebuild shop can most likely repair or rewind your old one.
