I have an 100% original Palm Beach and looking to change out some of the interior that shows a bit of age but nothing is wore out just faded or little runs in upholstery. My floorplan is 26-9 which has the swivel chairs on the drivers side, even toying with the idea of changing to the couch/bunk setup if I can find the necessary pieces in good shape. It's funny when I first started looking at GMC I didn't look at Palm Beaches cause of the green but stumbled across one is such good condition I bought it. Now my wife and I love the green and she doesn't want me to change to color, which was our original intentions. If anybody has any OEM Palm Beach stuff they'd like to get rid of, hit me up.
Thanks,

John Blankenship '76 Palm Beach Tulare, CA

John,

I have a set of Palm Beach furniture for lay-out 26-3. I also have the wall panels for the from front and back. I even have the front seats.

The dinette and front seats are rough. The couch is ok and the rear seats/bed are in very good shape. Most of the side panels are in good shape.

I "rescued" them when a local GMC'er when he "removed the green" from his 1976(?) Palm Beach. I had "planned" on installing some of the parts in my 1973 ex-Painted Desert. (Maybe making it a Palm Desert?) But would I have to change some things in order to make everything fit. AND I am not sure if I want to redo the 26 foot 1973. (I am looking for a good (cheap) 23 foot core.) While I might like to use some of the frames, it would probably be better to recover the parts I use.

But, if you need the parts/fabric....

Anyway... The parts are stored in the "73, next to my house in Hillsboro OR. I did not have to pay anything for them. (Thanks Lance!) So I will not ask for anything for them. I am not that interested in shipping them....

I am planning on going to Treasure Island for Fleet Week.

Call me at 9 seven 1 - five 70 -68 three one. Do not worry about the time of day, I work odd hours and just will not answer if I am working or sleeping. Rolling Eyes
