Ken B I still have old K1 relay that as it turns out is probably fine so I may open and give it a shot.
Thanks to everyone for helping with this weird electrical problem.

Ken H, I measured the resistance across in and out on K1, open on both K1's. Resistance from S to the left side of upper K1 ( KH diagram) 4.2 ohms, open to right side.
Choke to ground 1.2 ohms.
Starter solenoid S to ground .4 ohms.

I do not think that I would be chasing the resistor value on the Dino board. That resister is in series with the relay coil of K2, not K1 that we are working on. If K2 was not working there would be no power to the ignition or fuel pump and the engine would die due to lack of fuel an ignition.

At this point I have seen revisions of revisions.
Could someone please post the last revision with a link to it?

Thank you.

Emery,

I just tonight posted the LATEST revision (just added the revision number
to the drawing). I can't yet get it onto GMCMHPhotos, but this should
work:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3XquSIYjDleZ1lLLWdvX0FaRkU

However, none of the revisions since Sep 2001 affect the area being
discussed in this thread.

Ken H.
