That is a bummer, but I can see the logic. I am sure I would have to fight the wife, on the same deal, but she has never camped with a travel

The only thing I could say for the wife, is if you do other things with the motorhome that you can't with a travel trailer, like use it as a bus to
haul kids around town, go to the zoo, park, go get ice cream or whatever else.

As for asking price, you just need to really look over RC's list, and see what people are asking, and pay attention to what one's are SELLING for. I
can price one out locally on craigslist, but if I go back, I will see he has been asking that price for 3-4 years, so must be over priced. I have for
other items contacted people who list them for sale, and some, will notify me when they sell it and what they sold it for to give me an idea.

a running driving coach that one can use, is so much easier I would think then one that does not. So even if you sit on it a while holding out for
your price, make sure you fire it up and drive it around a bit, to keep things working.

Another good site for gauging prices of various condition GMCs. While it
doesn't list the sold price, it does typically have prices for generally
more "finished and upgraded" GMCs.

I happened to drive by your house a few months ago when picking up a piece of equipment ( ya I spotted the gmc out of the corner of my eye 200 yards off the main drag , call it an affliction )and stopped back on the return trip. I cannot speak for the interior but it was looking good on the outside for sure.

The interior although useable as is could use some work. Everything is there but it did have a leak that I fixed that took a toll on the bathroom wall, the inside of the hanging locker has some bubbling in the PB, an the upper cabinet next to the hanging locker has the wood on top falling down.

I had originally planned on replacing all of the white laminated wood in the hanging locker with white seaboard. It is a shiny white foam filled board that is rigid but light.

The coach is not perfect on the inside, but is great mechanically, and looks great to boot on the outside.

The camping season will be upon us before we know it.

I was able to secure $2000 that will go towards my Flight training so I can sit on the coach for a while longer. Hopefully be able to use it a few times this season too.

Not in a hurry to sell anymore......yet. LOL

The updated Generator, the 7 Alcoa Wheels, and the twin Zip-Dee awnings cost more new than what I am asking for the whole package. And that doesn't even begin to cover the upgrades this coach has.

Me, either. The only thing I know that gets in the same $$-league as PPL are horses.

Besides the flight plans (screw that), and the fact that a really good day for flying was also a really good day for sailing, the FAA pretty much ruled out even simplistic mods & upgrades, like better insulation in the doors.

All depends on if the aircraft carries an FAA certificate or type, If it is an experimental aircraft you can do whatever you want to it.

The Yak has 2 seats, I flew in the right seat of one 2 weeks ago....... and if it wasn't so much fun it would have been nauseating. Technically I was a passenger.

I see where you are going with that though. Experimental aircraft that are flown regularly are typically 2 seaters.

I got hit hard by a case of pilot's vertigo once. I was VFR over a large body of water at late, hazy dusk. The sky and the water were exactly the same color. I knew the shoreline well and could see lights coming on along the shoreline ....only problem was they were'nt lights, they were stars. Getting my horizon straight meant telling my stomach that my brain wasn't seeing right. The only reason I was able to squelch the nausea was every orifice was clenched so tight nothing could escape.

Sounds like it would have been a good time to pull out the hood and get
some IFR practice in. My first time in fog I didn't know what was up or
down. That's when I decided instruments were right in addition to
praying no one else was around. That was back in the mid 1960's and GPS
was still a dream in someone's head.

I love flying but have been too poor to fly since spending money on
motorhomes and wives that are scared of levitating by machine.

I haven't had experience with vertigo yet of course as I am still un soloed. Getting close though, passed my basics of flying quiz and my pre solo exam 100%. Had a flight from 2-4pm today and it was a beautiful day for flying. Only problem was the female pilot who seems to think that turning base 2 miles away from where you should turn base is acceptable. I hate extending my downwind so I said screw it and we went and flew some 180 emergency descents, 45 degree turns, and a couple of power off stalls. Also flew my 21 year old instructor out to the site of the Oso landslide as he had only seen pictures and never saw it from the air. Luckily enough when we returned to the pattern the gal that likes to extend her downwind was gone so I was able to do some proper pattern approaches and what an awesome day for flying!!! 20.8hrs and counting. My "New" instructor was actually very surprised I only had 20hrs. He said my stick and rudder skills are just as good as his. After our final landing he asked me how comfortable I was with a solo flight soon and I feel great about it.

Once you get a feel for the aircraft, in my case a 1979 Cessna 172N with 180hp conversion, you have the feel. The airplane becomes an extension of yourself and you don't have to think about what to do regardless of the configuration of the airplane..... you just do it naturally.

On the Vertigo subject though....... Turn coordinator, if the little airplane is not turning and the ball is in the center.... you are not turning. Artificial horizon, if the airplane is on the line and not in the blue or brown, then the airplane is not climbing or descending.

Then again, haven't experienced for myself.

Luckily enough when we returned to the pattern the gal that likes to extend her downwind was gone so I was able to do some proper pattern approaches and what an awesome day for flying!!! 20.8hrs and counting. My "New" instructor was actually very surprised I only had 20hrs. He said my stick and rudder skills are just as good as his. After our final landing he asked me how comfortable I was with a solo flight soon and I feel great about it.

Once you get a feel for the aircraft, in my case a 1979 Cessna 172N with 180hp conversion, you have the feel. The airplane becomes an extension of yourself and you don't have to think about what to do regardless of the configuration of the airplane..... you just do it naturally.

On the Vertigo subject though....... Turn coordinator, if the little airplane is not turning and the ball is in the center.... you are not turning.
Artificial horizon, if the airplane is on the line and not in the blue or brown, then the airplane is not climbing or descending.

Then again, haven't experienced for myself.

I haven't had experience with vertigo yet of course as I am still un soloed. Getting close though, passed my basics of flying quiz and my pre solo exam 100%. Had a flight from 2-4pm today and it was a beautiful day for flying. Only problem was the female pilot who seems to think that turning base
2 miles away from where you should turn base is acceptable. I hate extending my downwind so I said screw it and we went and flew some 180 emergency descents, 45 degree turns, and a couple of power off stalls. Also flew my 21 year old instructor out to the site of the Oso landslide as he had only seen pictures and never saw it from the air.
