Steve,
The other wire is for the OEM cruise control-about 8 inches aft of the distributor. That's why I incorrectly selected the shorter wire. Engine's been out so long I forgot what connects where.

We were almost neighbors in the past. I lived in Corona del Mar and Harbor View for 30+ years until 2000.
Nice place to live and great weather, but I don't miss the congestion

We actually chatted about that when Dave DeGraffenreid and I found you working on your coach at the Home Depot on Harbor Blvd.

And years earlier, I was considering your 23' Avion that was at Miguels.

Yea... this conversation probably should be conducted via PMs - but it's amazing to me that this world-wide internets thing often connects us to our own local neighbors.
