If this is the SS lazier cut unit, it is not a buckle that you
purchase and wear as it is given to people that have performed service
to the GMC community.
I was awarded one about 3 years ago and wear it proudly with the
others that have earned it as determined by JR Slaton.

"Selling as is"
What could possibly be wrong with a belt buckle?
I would ask to see a picture of the back side, it may be missing the essential parts.

Here is what the back looks like (not of the ebay one, but mine) a rugged item with one moving part, not likely to break. They all had a serial number of 1977. (sorry for the glue spots where I stuck it in my display).

Here is a picture of four originals that were issued by GMC. There is one of these designs has been repoped.

The buckles look like they are made by casting in sand from an original
pattern and the pivot side on the back tends to wear or break away ?

Guys....lets not go off the deep end here. Look at the picture, it is NOT one of JR's, it was made for GMC in 1977.

I know what you mean about JR's buckle, I treasure mine and consider it one of my proudest possessions!
