I am needing some info
I have tried seaching and am finding a lot of the links broken on different sights.

So I am preparing for a Summer project to reconnect the rear brakes.
What I have is nothing. the cables are gone???????

If some one has a pic of the rear brakes and how the cable connects would be a huge help.

Also, how is the end of the cable prepared to attach to the brake position in the rear wheel(s)? Is it something an owner can do?

I'm going to add the pulley wheels to ( hopefully ) get the parking brake to work smoothly.

As I said, a pick would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I saw that, I also perused his manual but there is no reference to the actual brake connection.

Larry, if I remember correctly all that is in the parts book and maintance manual. Jeff Sirum has new replacements for the OEM parking brake. You could check with him.

THanks
THe PO gave me a bunch of books with the coach but I think they were just manuals of sorts.

Thanks for the thought, I have been so busy caring for my sick pet I guess I am not thinking on all cylinders.

Many thanks for the responses. Smile

Ours is still up in the air where you can see how it is all connected. If you want to look at it let me know and I'll leave a brake drum off (if I get to the point where I'm putting the drums back on.) This most likely be still available for inspection until your pet care duties can allow a visit.

If you have to buy any more than a few parts I would suggest you seriously consider the Branscome set up.
