Jim K -

I, for one, just think you should consider the source of the 'critiquers' and not let them bother you.....I've yet to meet one single person that is in business, any kind of business, that has an overhead (employees, rent factor, employee fringes, taxes, parts inventory, etc., etc.), that is doing what they do just for the hell of it and continually subsidizing that business out of their pockets. Everyone is in business trying to make a profit and in todays world, it's not as easy as it used to be.

My feeling is that if those people that think they can find something as good somewhere else much cheaper, let them go somewhere else and buy it. Then perhaps they'll find out just how good the cheaper suppliers' guarantee, return policy, refund policy, etc. etc., actually is!

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone on this forum know my feelings - I personally think that both You and Jim B. are doing one hell of a job for our (GMC) community. I for one, hope you guys are making enough money to stay in this business of supplying parts & service for our GMC community "for ever".

Keep up the great work you guys!!!

Jim & Steve..
Amen to that.. I have the greatest respect for those vendors who "Try" to make a living from this Group of old grouches who prove the point the a little knowledge goes a little sway!
I am not criticizing our membership either.. I spent the day with Bill Bramlett yesterday as he rewired my Howell injection kit to accept a knock sensor and an electronic spark control. Hw epitomizes what this group is all about the sharing of irreplaceable knowledge and of their time!
I am proud and very happy to be a part of a group like this!
And, am very thankful we have great vendors like Jim K and you as well Steve! Very Happy

I notice that not much is mentioned of Alex and Jeff Sirum, who have been my GMC Vendor of choice and I could not ask for a more pleasant experience, Jim B did the engine for the PO, but I have not yet had the pleasure to meet him. Jim K is a long way away from us although we used to live down the street from his shop back in the 60's.
