Is there a kitchen sink faucet that anyone would recommend for the GMC? Or
a store recommendation? We are interested in finding one that has a pull out
sprayer.

Looking on the web, we found a few faucets for RVs, but they all needed 3
holes. When Alan took our broken one out, he said that there is only 1
hole, so none of the RV ones would work. So we started to look at normal
kitchen faucets, but have some concerns about the depths of the sinks.

Anyway, any suggestions / recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Have you tried to look at the manufacturers sites for faucet models and types?

There are all kinds and Menards and HomeDepot carry a large number.

I noticed a large selection at ACE but they cost twice as much and they don't have standardized stores around the country, some look like a mom and pop store with bare essentials.

The GMC sink is only stainless and there are people with hydraulic hole punches that can take care of that problem for you if it came to that.

But I am reasonable sure you will find a one hole unit.

The original one hole single lever faucet is probably a Moen. Unless its totally broken the cartridge kit to fix it is less than $20. That said we have been thinking about a faucet with a higher spout Like a Delta 182.

I added a spray faucet to my house kitchen sink, and was able to drill through the stainless sink there with a bi-metal (good quality like a Starret, Milwaukee, etc.) hole saw in a hand drill pretty easily. So that would be one way to use a conventional kitchen faucet.

Also, on my 1977 Kingsley, the original faucet was a Moen, and the local independent hardware store had a rebuild kit on the shelf for it a year or two back. I don't particularly like Moen faucets, and will probably be hole-sawing away at it one of these days. I've seen a number of coaches that have the sink turned sideways in them to gain a wider counter space and kind of like that idea.

I just picked up one of these last week on sale for 99.00 $cdn. Its a single hole mount with a pull-out spout. You can toss the plate if you don't have to cover anything.

The old one was a similar model, but the hard water was making it look really bad.

We have the single hole pull out in our GMC and love it. It is a Price Fister I do believe. Works great. Put one in the house after Teri found out how much she liked the one in the coach.

Ikea has some very nice single hole faucets at low prices. Since there are not a lot of Ikea's around, check then on line to see what they have now.

ooo Love a trip to Idea.. err I mean Ikea!

Thanks all for the suggestions and help! We picked up a short kitchen
faucet from Lowes last night that has a small arm. We were concerned that
the kitchen faucets would have an arm too long...

The guys are going to install it today. Hopefully everything will go
without a hitch so they can then winterize the coach.

Well... we got sidetracked pulling out the furnace so the faucet did not get
put in. The sink is out right now too.

Question on the faucet, the coach plumbing has plastic lines with that flare
like end on it that is for attaching to faucets. The faucet I got has 3/8"
compression fittings. I am thinking of cutting the fittings off the coach
plumbing and putting a compression fitting on and then a coupling and then
attach the faucet supply lines. Is this a viable solution?

And on that note, my supply lines (hot & cold) to the kitchen sink have a
valve in line that diverts water to some kind of fitting where the hot &
cold lines join together. It appears to go through the floor. I guess this
is for draining the lines but I would have a hard time reaching the valves
once the sink and furnace are back in. Am I on the right track here?
