I purchased a 1978 Transmode limo on ebay in August for $2,500 from a company in detroit and it is in excellent working condition. I am redoing the upholstery and I just purchased 7 leather recliners from a junkyard that participated in the "cash for clunkers" program.

I have gutted it and will be installing carpeting and 7 leather chairs next week. The paint job wont take place until this winter.

I want it ready for the Michigan vs OSU game in November. I live in Ohio but love Michigan.



I will be sure to post more pictures of before and after in the next couple weeks.

The nice thing is that it too is a 1978 transmode with all those windows. As a limo it is also lighter in weight which is good because it probably has the smaller engine. My transmode only weighs 9,750 lbs the week i bought it. Thats what the scales weighed it in at here in Toledo. Good luck and keep it rolling.
