| 1. | Would you change policies NOW for an Agreed Value + GMC Affiliation Discount? | 2 / 29% | | 2. | Would you ALSO need multiple antique vehicle coverage? | 1 / 14% | | 3. | Would you ALSO add daily driver vehicle(s) too? | 0 / 0% | | 4. | Would you ALSO need home owners'/renters' coverage? | 2 / 29% | | 5. | Alternatively, do you think this is a BAD IDEA & waste of time? | 2 / 29% |
Greetings:
This might be the ticket. It seems that the major antique vehicle insurance underwriters don't consider the GMC - or motorhomes in general - in their repertoire of antique vehicles. We don't even have a "special" discount with the usual RV insurers like Good Sam.
Not yet, that is! But its about time that changed, right?
I think we could get their attention if we took a quick poll on potential policies with an Agreed Value baseline. This is something that will be 100% member-generated, so if there is enough interest we should benefit at least 15% over the norm; conversely, if this is a big letdown due to a weak response, expect little or nothing from this of course.
Please indicate in this poll whether you would take seriously the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of getting the GMC community a recognized group discount with major underwriters that would be the best we can find.
That means getting a quote from them through the affiliation channel(s) created from this effort.
Let's hope I don't screw up the poll now!
Thanks for your input!

Not to be critical, however, all of your questions pretty much are a absolute, how about a not so committal question.
Would you give serious consideration to:

Yea, I'd be interested.
I'd expect a discount and a good price.
My biggest issue is I'm not sure I want collision coverage...

Richard -if you don't like MY questions, feel free to make your own. Hell, hijack the thread. It seems there wasn't any interest to speak of anyway so the teapot is echoing.
And please post the rest of your query (the part expected after the colon) so we can address it.
Thanks for caring enough to reply, though - critical as it was.
