We are headed to Southern California in a couple of days. The last time we were there, 8yrs ago, I had to have something to put on the fuel nozzle, I think, to capture fuel vapor. Fueling would not work without it. What do I need in todays California world to make fueling less of a struggle?

I saw somewhere on the net a sort of flexible funnel thing that allowed a CA nozzle to fuel the coach and other vehicles with older inlets.

Seem to remember someone saying a short cut from a pool noodle works to keep the boot depressed. Good news is should be easy to find at say a Walmart or pool store and cheap. You could cut several in slightly different sizes to conquer various pump personalities and still have a bunch left over. I’d try a bread knife or electric knife would be best.

Sad to say it’s not just the Costco pumps in California, I stopped at two Costco’s today. One in Baton Rouge and the other in Mobile.and they were the California style pump faucets. It took 15 minutes to fill 25 gallons at each stop.
