I haven't seen any of the E-Mail readers for way too long!

Negative reading this as email. I stopped using the email side years ago when the emails numbered in the hundreds. Today not so much I suspect.

I researched this a few days ago on the email side and I contacted two users. We ran a few tests. They are not seeing us and we are not seeing them. The link between the two systems has now been severed in both directions. It originally was severed one way because of an email IP address change on the email side. Someone has now severed it the other direction for reasons unknown to me.

On Monday Aug 29th we have a posting that came from the GMCnet email server. It has all of the markings that it originated there. This is interesting to me. Maybe all is not dead there. Now if they just fix the IP address change or DNS issue we might have them back again.

I would love to see the distribution email system working again. I miss it very much.
The new site is nice but it doesn't have the search for the entire history of responses of this database from the original forum. (Which I totally depend on)
I may not have learned how to use all the features of the new site but all the subcategories doesn't seem to have a overall level search to find where an answer is stored.

I hope Ken, Billy, and others can repair a 5 year old email system like they can breath life into 49 year old coaches!

It's a lot older than 5 years. I signed on for the first time, back in late 1998. So make the GMCNET going on a quarter of a century old. Patrick is the person that started it and has been running it all that time. The forum runs off of it.
