Daytona International Speedway for the "Roar Before The 24" on Boy Scout weekend. Son-in Law got us in to park among the big SOB's. Some looking and interest in our GMC. Boy Scouts got us in at $25/night. Got to sign our names on the pit markers on pit row and walk through the pits. AMAZING technology taking place here. Watched races all day. Races held on main track and infield road course. Needed ear protection. Great time in spite of cold weather.

Way, way, way cool.
You were my hero for the transmission episode. But dang it, now I have to put you in another category... as a hero.
Stop it. Stop it right now!
On a winter year we decided not to travel, you have to show us the fun that's out there. Not fair!

Still, savor every moment, drink in the life that travel brings us lucky ones.
Breathe the warm air. Smell the different air that lives only in southern climes. Torment us with your pictures. (You wretch.)
You and Lucy are not alone; you travel with legions of friends that are with you every step of the way, every turn of your tires... in our minds.

The family stuff is your own, but memories of distant air live in every GMC owner because we are gypsies who are eager to discover what's around the next bend.
Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy the noise.
We're with you.

You said it, Doug! Bob and I did our share of GMC traveling and still
would be if we could.

Larry and Lucy, keep sharing your road reports.

Very cool Larry! Living the dream.

Maybe they'll let you take a lap around the track in the coach, the crowd would love it!! Laughing

Safe Travels,
Russell

I'm not at all sure that the crowd would have the patience to wait that long. Wink
