Has anyone upgraded/modified their dash to accept a digital Dashboard Display? They seem to have all the modern hook ups to include time to empty and GPS in the display. I'm guessing they use a fuel transducer similar to aircraft.

I may have to sell my un-used Digi Panel. It seems they (Digital Displays) have programable limit alarms for your pressures and temps.

The EBL 'What's Up Display' provides digital read out of many engine parameters via Windows software. Add WinLog-EBL and you get three gal/mi/mpg trip meters plus digital and 'analog' gauges. It sums the pulse width of the injector pulses that the EBL reports multiplied by an adjustable #/hr constant that can be calibrated through TunerPro.

You can set visual and audible (wav file) alarms for any point. Settable green/yellow/red ranges for analog (needle) gauges.

There's a photo in this forum post.

Hi Tom
I have older Dakota Digital guages. They are accurate and provide the option of having some fun accessories. Probably need the new versions to get the features you expressed interest. However I’m planning to get rid of them as soon as possible and replace them with digital with analog face guages. My biggest complaint is the sun washes out the display on sunny days. I know the new Dakotas can provide flashing and sound alerts based on owners set points. Might want to check them out for other type of options.
