My generator will not start. I replaced all the diodes but no change

Do you mean it will not run or it will not crank?

Either way, go over to B'dub's and find the diagnostic stuff from Duane Simmons. I'm not sure where it is and I am not at my main computer.

The technology is bronze age, so there is no rocket science here.
