Just wondering if people that had/have a Thomas 317 compressor have any pros or cons on them. I have one I removed to install a Viair when I first purchased our coach. I'd scored a great deal on the Viair at SEMA and the Thomas was working fine when I removed it. I'm considering using it on the 'rescue' coach and just wondered if it's a viable choice. Finding specs and any information on the 317 has pretty much evaded my searches (must be to old). Any opinions on them?
Thanks for your time, Hal

I had a Thomas 317 compressor (I think it was a 317) that I never installed. I installed a Viair instead. The reason being that the specs at the time for the Thomas indicated that it was not a 100% duty cycle as opposed to the Viair being 100%. I sold the Thomas at a rally flea market at a good price to the buyer. Who knows, maybe the specs were wrong for both of them.

At least that is what I recall.

I'm using one for many years and it performs just fine. I'd say yes, it'll
do the job.
