Terry, the GMC motor home uses unique rear shocks. My parts source here
says that Delco's are no longer available for the coach. KYB seems to be
the preferred shock, although Bilstein's have their following, too. My
experience has been that the Bilstein upper mountings are weak, and failure
prone. Their warranty sucks. Your experience might vary.

My presaftey work is coming along nicely, front end work is almost done new
shocks new upper ball joints new tires just need the new intermediate
steering shaft boot to wrap up. Then on to rear suspension where I see I
have ac delco shocks that look quite old so will probably replace just
wondering if the delco shocks are the original type and if they still make
them for our GMC,s could not find the shocks in the online parts exchange.
I see lots of discussion on the KYB AND Bilstien shocks but no other
comparable brands eg Monroe etc. I see most do not offer life time warranty
but
they are locally available

Already ordered new kybs but I wondered how old the delco were as I could find no numbers for them I figured they are at least 20 years old.
