I had one in the burned GMC. Loved it. As it had an alarm that would sound off if there was any issues with the trans temp, engine temp, oil pressure, and alternator voltage. And a visual display. It went out of production about a year ago as I recall. So from what I understand. Jim K at Applied bought the rights to start producing it again. He has some here at Shawnee to sell. I think it cost me $275. Didn't notice, didn't care. Worth every dime. Hated driving without it. Want to put it in before leaving for home. Very HAPPY Bob. As a side note. Sorry to Dale Ropp. As he caught me asleep at his very nice talk on replacing the frame in his GMC. Nobody is going to let me live that down for a few days. ( GRIN ) Bob Dunahugh

I wonder, if I'd had one in my 26' coming home from The Mouse, whether it m,ight have warned me of a transmission problem before failure. I have one now which I'll install as I did in the 23'. I've plenty of gauges to look at, but the audible alarm is worth it.

In the 23', the DigiPanel warned me twice of oil pressure problems. Inspection showed the dash gauge at full high, the Digi gauge at zero, indicating a sender failure. The PO (Mike) has the third sender in it. When it fails, I'll give him my phone number and address, and AutoZone will give him yet another freebie. Racing friend says the only cure for the new ones failing (they fail to vibration, they aren't built as well by the Heathen Chinee)is to remote the sender with a piece of braided flex hose and mount it on the body somewhere close.
