For anyone interested in replacing their Onan, one of these MAY be a good
option, especially with the selectable gasoline/propane:

6.25kW: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA08C5219802
10kW: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA08C57N5814

Note that the sale is supposedly for only 1 week.

Ken H.

That's the same engine - and likely the same alternator - as the heathen chinee set from HF. I like the propane conversion, but not 200 bus worth. It's a different looking power panel, but I bet the same vendor makes it for them.

It looks a lot like the HF set. We have one that we use with the real estate venture, and it’s a pretty decent piece of equipment.

There is decent parts availability (discovered after an stupid employee trick), so you might be able to get the bits for Propane conversion as parts.

Possibly for less than 200 bux.

The parts prices almost seem to be too low.
