May be a stupid question, but can anyone tell me if the length of the brake lines from the combination valve to the tee in the back is different between the 23 and 26 foot coaches? One Wiki said the wheelbase was about 20 inches shorter on the 23 foot which would lead me to believe there is.

Mike,

Yes the line length is shorter.

I discovered that when installing a set of Stainless Steel brake lines from Classic Tube, they shipped me a set for a 23 foot GMC
and Double Trouble is a 26' coach; that was seven years ago and I do not remember the difference, sorry.

Having said that 20 inches does not make sense as the coach is 36 inches longer.

20" in the wheel base + 18" additional overhang = 36" where i went to school. makes sense to me:-)

Makes perfect sense. Part of the stretch is in front of the rear wheels, part is after... as it should be.

I guess I am still not able to find the right pages when I need them. Thanks both Rob and Johnny for confirmation. Now I can take my case to the vendor.
