I need some help in aligning the door on my 1977 Eleganza. The top of the door contacts the frame first (by almost 1/2") and I have to slam it to fully latch. I have tried bending the top of the door outward without success and am worried about breaking the glass if I get more aggressive. Is there any lateral movement available in the two hinge brackets where they attach to the body frame that would allow me to move the top hinge out slightly and the bottom in. Any help would be appreciated to alan_story@mac.com

When you say the top of the door do you mean the top of the door opposite
of the hinge side or the hinge side of the door?

Allen,
Did the hinge ever get hit?
That is about the only way the top can create a gap.
