I was wondering if you guys can tell me what that float valve thing that has two fuel/vent lines in the wheel well is for? Is it just for venting of the tanks? Or something else. Also, I cannot get gas to draw from a gas container in the back of the coach just before the selector valve. I wanted to see if I could keep the coach running by bypassing the tanks all together. I am pretty sure I can from the main fuel pump in front of the coach. I now have a 1/2 tank of gas in the main tank. I rehooked all the lines properly and the coach stalled again. I also by passed the selector valve and still had same symptoms. Not sure if my socks are trashed but maybe I should go buy 15 gallons of gas and get something in the aux tank and see if it will run on that tank without stalling. I don't want to drop the tanks just yet. Thanks for any input.

Charcoal container, used as a pollution control device. Absorbs gas fumes. Passenger side, by frame.

It is a check valve to keep the liquid fuel out of the vent/fume line going to the charcoal canister.

Thanks I guess that won't be the problem. I did try the fuel can in front of the coach again and it never stalled until it ran out of gas. I had great vacuum and it purred great. Now I just have to find why my gas isn't getting to the carb. My secondary fuel pump is working and it seems to be doing a good job getting it to the front of the coach. Just not looking forward to dropping the tanks...
