I ordered front calipers #18 4081, 18 4082 as 80mm.
They do not look like any of the pictures I have seen of 80mm calipers.
There is no bump to grind off.
The piston measures 72mm outside.
The bleeder is in a different position from the 80mm.
What do I have?

You have calipers like our original fronts.
You might get 18-4122 right and 18-4123 left. These are listed as 1984 Chevy C20 with JB7 brakes and 3-5/32" pistons.

David and all,

I have uploaded the Parts list for Disk Brake conversion for the coach, the numbers are pretty current. It show the parts needed for the 80 MM front and the rear Cad conversion.

And for those of you that missed the original post of several weeks ago here is how to install the 80MM fronts.

Just finished my conversion on the fronts yesterday along with the process of replacing all existing old steel lines with SS. The mod was fairly easy i think the hardest parts is bending the flex hose fitting at the caliper/Banjo connection to clear ball joint. One thing i am having an issue with are the hose's hitting the steering linkage it's not bad but i dont like the fact that the hoses rub when steering. I used the original mounting locations on the frame but not on the ball joints just didn't seem to work with the newer style hoses .Any ideas as to mounting the hoses differintly . Thanks Tony

Tony, I hear ya on hose and steering. This is what others did, I did the same but no pics. Short version is an additional support on the upper a arm keeps the hose up off the tie rods.
