Those who attended Bean Station in 2014 met this toy. "Rat Rod" '88 Ranger pickup, with a Mustang 302 fitted. Ready to tow, towbar comes with it. Tows well behind a GMC.

302 C.I.D. ford V8, lots of cam
New distributor - GMC HEI style
Edelbrock hiriser and squarebore 4 BBL rebuilt by Dollar Carb/Electric Gainesville
10 gal safety cell fuel cell in bed
Electric pump
New white paint (5 foot standoff)
T-5 5speed close ratio
8.8 Ford non-slip 3:76 diff
traction bars
'Mag' aluminum wheels
Long headers, Smitty open mufflers
remote oil filter
Aluminum radiator
Electric fan - thermo controlled
Power steering
power brakes, recent front calipers

This toy is scary quick. I've not had the cojones to see what it will do wound up in 5th, you feel free. 'Faster than I'll sit in it' is the move.
Trans is set up to powershift 1 - 2, so if it's hot and you shift normally, you'll get a gaunch. Slam it and you'll get sideways. It will approach 20MPG if you drive it sensibly, but who drives something like this sensibly? You >WILL< win stoplight drags with it, unless the guy in the other lane has his window down... at which point he's going to concede and drive off slowly. I can't find it now, I had a timing ticket from Atlanta Dragway sowing a 12 second pass. I believe it. Street legal, but you might have a problem with a smog test - none required here. No radio - no heater - rough inside but comfortable seats with belts.

$3500 gets signed clear Georgia title, and a big box of interior trim and spares. Got a mechanically sound work truck? I have a double axle trailer I can't tow with this toy. Let's talk trade.
