Hello everyone! That you very much for the information about shades and
blinds in answer to the question that my husband, Willie Heater asked! We
are very new to the GMC Coach and this is our first rv ever, so we
appreciate the input from experienced people who are so willing to share
their thoughts and experiences. We have a GMC 1976 Glenbrook in need of
some serious love... we are planning it's refurbishment now. Keep the
ideas coming! Thanks, Nancy White

Hello Nancy (and Willie),

one of the best ideas that I got from the group is:

Use it for a weekend, or a week-long trip, and see what it really is
that you want changed/fixed etc.

Of course, mechanical problems need to be addressed before hand.

I totally agree. USE IT and then make changes. If you try to
envision what you need, you'll be working on it all the time and never
use it.

That was the best advice I got when we bought the coach. Make it safe - brakes, fuel lines, tires, etc., then just use it!

Nancy,

Welcome to the club.

We got middle grade 2 cell, room darkening, top down-bottom up corded, from Blinds.com .
With the 20% light emitting window tint (don't need day shades)it give a good versatility for privacy
and blackening the interior, except for front window and roof vents.
The shades have a metal top and bottom frame, and 1.38 in wide.
Watch for a sale.

Do add a signature line to better know how we can help.

Nancy,

Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum....

As said above, get her safe and running and enjoy her. Go to a rally as soon as you can, as I don't know where you are ican't make any suggestions. Bdub has a calendar and you can undoubtedly find one in striking range. Just get there and meet us in person. This is real.

Please read what I wrote to Willie about a sigfile. At least we have a real name and Coach type and that all matters for good answers.

There is a big piece of welcome that I missed with Willie, so please have him read this too.
You are now both members of a community of helping and giving people. The true power of this you still have to experience to believe. it is like very few others. It is much like that of the watermen that are my life. That being the case, I decided to welcome new owners here much as they would traditionally welcome a new owner or vessel. So,

May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.
Welcome Nancy and Willie

Matt
