Just received my new one, are there any instructions on how to install in a gmc??
Have only open door to find old one, replacing because it 'charged' my 6V batts dead...

Nope,

Hook up the 12V and plug it in and relax.

My PO had one installed and they put it on the floor of the electrical cabinet behind the 120V breaker box. Seems to be a good place for it. They also added a really nice 12V fused panel. One of the ones that has a light if a fuse blows. Of course, they didn't label any circuits.... Shocked Laughing

I mounted mine to the top of the cabinet which left a lot of room at the bottom for other things. As Matt says. Hook up the 12 volts (plus the added ground wire) and plug it in.

I like that Idea, but then I got thinking that I want to move the PD up front (by the passenger's right foot). This is all because I put in a Bogart Trimetric and that told me that I had a 0.3V drop at the high charging rate so it took hours longer on the generator to get the house bank (mine is in the front - its a GMC 23') back to near full.

But, I like the idea, 23s need all the storage you can find.

Ok, got it installed, I took out a Magnetek; is that OEM??
