Heading out for our last weekend of the year this afternoon. My home
town in northern Wisconsin got 6" of snow last night, I think it's
going to be a chilly weekend for us.

Monday's priority, winterize and get to storage.

Hard to believe we've just finished our 9th year of enjoyment with out
GMC. Already can't wait until spring.

Ray,
Don't wait until spring. Take your coach and head south. We do 4-5 mo of the year. Have traveled from Fl. to Cal. From one Federal, State, county, or city park to another. We go to one spot, stay a few days... up to a week. When we've seen enough, we look at the map and find another place to go, and stay another couple of days or so. Lots to see across the south. We have found that even with the price of gas, we spend less money...on the road...during those months than if we stayed home. It's a great life!!

Ray, it is tough reality this time of year. Today is the eye opener for the freeze to come quick. Crews are calling me for their embroidered winter hats and hoodies, and the usual complaint they have no 4wd to get them through the winter. Been spending time "winterizing stuff" get the mowers put away, and get the snowblowers ready to go. MN deer hunting is next week, I know it will be cold very soon.

Even though I pumped the pink stuff in the water system, I will have mine out for my personal bunk house for hunting, and it will stay mobile until the salt hits the roads. Every year I hope that will not happen till later, so we can do a December christmas light tour wit our friends in the GMC, but the last few years it seems the snow hits the roads bad about that time.

Larry, I think Ray is still a working sucker like myself... It is interesting to say that you spend less then staying local, but I guess heat is $400+ a month here. I spend money on salt for the driveway, gas for the snowblower, gas in my own vehicles letting them warm up, and I know from my days in oregon, I buy more clothes trying to stay warm.

Sure wish you folks who like cold weather would keep it all for
yourselves! SHE had the yard man and me working all day today because of
the forecast of 37*F tonight, 33*F tomorrow, and 34*F the next before
finally beginning to warm up. Plants into the greenhouse and erection of
the lemon tree cover are a necessity with HER around. Costs me a whole lot
for lemons!
