Wanted to say thanks again Dave!!

Met Dave yesterday, he was able to set me up with a brake drum in great shape and some miscellaneous other interior/exterior parts.

Great guy, if I need something else it is nice to have a local guy with parts!!

Jared showed me that you're never too old to learn something. I'd always assumed that the rear drums on the GMC were attached to the hubs with pressed in studs, just like GMC trucks of the same age. Jared showed me that they are simply bolted on, and other than a little trouble breaking loose bolts that hadn't moved in 40 years, taking the hub of the drum is simple. Since I'm attempting to keep my parts coach mobile as long as possible, I simply bolted my hub onto his old drum and put it back on the coach.

Thanks for that Dave, to tell you the truth I knew I needed a drum and my coach came with the green "Parts Book" and was able to look at an exploded view of the entire assembly.....

Thanks again for the parts, got the rear wheels polished and got them bolted back on. Just waiting on the front rotors and bearings and my coach will be mobile!!
