Be sure to not modify to where the original clutch will not fit. When that sruff you are putting un fails (all fan clurches are expendible (, if you need a new fan clutch in t he middle of nowhere you may find the only r hing available will be an original one. Eemember this part does have a lufw envelope and you know it will fail at the wose possible time and place. Myrphy IS on board!

John, with GM these are controlled by the ECM based on many inputs, The wire loom is usually just clipped to the fan shroud.
