Hockey pucks cut in half work OK. That is, half thickness.
Freeze them and cut on a bandsaw.

At$11.00 each and an additional ^.40 shipping they are way too expensive. I believe there are 18 of them. Why not just order the kit for Bert and Faye or Jim K.

If you want to make your own, this would work well. Buy one and cut up many sets of them on a band or radial arm saw.

Appie,

Here's a link to the body pads that Bert & Faye sell: http://www.bdub.net/curtis-unlimited/index.html

Scroll down to the instructions and review them.

JimK also sells them: http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/548

Here's another set of photos: http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g5800-isolation-pad-installation.html

For a '76 Eleganza I think you will need the thick ones which I believe are 3/4" thick.

The steel frame is 2" wide; the blocks you've posted are 120mm x 120mm x 20mm. That works out to 4.72in x 4.72in x 0.787 in.

You will need 20 pads so you can cut the ones on eBay in half and place them length wise on top of the frame. Position them so that
the 0.72 in is on the inside and you'll be able to put screws through that part of the pad into the aluminum frame.

You'll have to buy 10 of them @ £6.35 each for a total of £63.50 = 105.66 USD so it looks like this is a better deal than buying
them from the USA due to postage and Customs charges.

You'll also have to come up with thin ones for the clamps on the "outside" of the steel frame

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/the-stretch-arrives-at-the-gmc-co-op-amp-the-work-begins/p37463-new-frame-pads.html

and for the donuts at the front and rear of the frame.

Gmc coop lists pads for $50. Good price, can't imagine there isn't a rubber supplier somewhere around Denmark that can't cut you a 4" X 10' strip of rubber. That's what I did because I didn't want to wait 3 weeks for postal service and add shipping brokerage etc. Just under $70 with tax. If your coach needs 3/4" as stated above a full hockey puck is 15/16". Your probably going to have to shim up the front and rear mounts somehow any way and I kinda wish I would have used hockey pucks. Can't see much downside, brake lines would have to stretch a little further. I haven't had the steering spline apart but can't imagine it doesn't have enough travel for another 3/16" over the 3/4" pads. I went 5/8" I think and floor insulation was still probably pressing on the senders and fittings. Hit the pucks with a belt sander for better glue adhesion like another hockey puck guy on here posted when he milled his. Your going to have to check the plumbing into the poop tank anyway.

Right Rob I have to do this before reinstalling the tanks and having them shiped from US takes time and money Germany is just next door Trying to find a fysical shop in Denmark well I gave up on Denmark so much easier to start in Germany right away even postage is cheaper across the border.

Clamp rubbers see, fine, no load on them but I will have a closer look at them and on the donuts.

tried to figure out the correct hight from your pictures, but they are not quit clear. I will look in the manual to find correct numbers

Using more than 1/2" thickness using hockey pucks, you will need to consider the front grill valence brackets and holding tank toilet downpipe.  Deal with those and you can take the body on up.

I milled the pucks to 7/8". The original Isolators (donuts?) were
1/2". Barry Controls makes an Isolator that is identical to the
original except that it lifts 7/8". I didn't realize this until after
I bought them so then I just went with it. Serendipity I suppose.
That extra 3/8" space is nice to have. It simplifies moving the fuel
fill closer to the tanks among other things.

In addition to those things Jim mentions: the step that connects from
body to frame must be shimmed and the isolator mount plate has to be
thicker as well. I bought 3/8" aluminum stock and made a second plate.
Unless you can get pucks really cheap, you're not ikely to beat Jims
price since he buys them in bulk.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to check that someone in the past had mounted the black tank over the top frame flange on one side like the po of my 77 royale. If I had lifted the body it would have torn the inlets out of the top of the tank.
