Nothing like a good idea that cannot be borrowed or improved upon.

Gene,

Why do you hate the bed? Seems to me that it is very practical; it appears you can leave it made up and just remove the pillows then
fold it up into the wall.

Avion did something similar in their 23' models behind the cockpit:

Bed layout looks fine to me. I like the walk around idea.

I like how the bed covers up one of two little windows.
no.. not really.

I don't like the bed either, leave it out and use the sofa as a bed.

I was liking the way all their water, electricity and propane panels were nicely organized, until I thought about what a pain they would be to work on.

But they are pretty...

One issue with the Avion, is that the bed blocks the only door.

But... If the bed was build into a slide out, it would be (almost) a walk around bed, like the Unity Murphy Bed. While I am not overly fond of the actual Murphy bed, the same could be done with some kind of sofa bed set-up. I have been thinking along these lines from the time I got a look at Manny's slideout.

Gene,

Thanks! Got it!

I like the twin beds at the back of the Avion for the same reasons plus when I get up in the middle of the night to pee I don't have
to climb over Helen.

The reason I liked the bed in the video is because when it came down it had sheets on it, Since the head of the bed was at the
bottom when raised I assumed you could leave it made when you raised it but you might have had to remove the pillows though.

I liked the 23 ft Avion because I thought the couch behind the cockpit had a built in metal framed fold out bed which could also be
left made up when folded away. However, I am not so sure about that any more. If anyone that reads this has one and could clarify
how the bed works I would be grateful.

Mike,

Agreed, however, since in theory the bed would only be out at night and the door opens outwards does it matter?
