Hi Karen,

Archoil makes several products. The two that I have used are the friction modifier designed to go into the engine oil, transmission, final drive, power steering pump, etc. The second is a fuel additive designed to counteract the ills of the alcohol in the fuel and stabilize fuel stored in a tank. So far I have added the specified amounts of the friction modifier to the generator oil, the transmission and the power steering pump (bottle and web site show the dilution ratio but it takes very little). I have also added the specified amount of the fuel additive at each fuel up. Again, it takes only a little so the bottle goes a long way and has a metering cup built in. We usually fuel when needing 25 to 30 gallons so add the proper amount for 30 gallons each time.

I am not normally a Magic elixir fan but the underlying technology appears to have been developed in real labs by credible sources so I was willing to try them. As I reported, so far so good. They appear to have made a real difference, at least for us on this trip. Long term, who knows. The S&J engine now has 2640 miles and runs like a champ. Hope yours continues to do well, also. I will add the friction modifier with the next oil change. Right now we are running on dyno oil to which we added a bottle of of GM EOS to finish out the break in.

Hey Jerry, I'm having a hard time finding the prior posts on Archoil,
so maybe this has already been covered. Is this Archoil AR-9100?

How much did you use in the tranny, engine, etc?

thanks,
Karen

thanks Jerry. Don't want to jinx it, but so far so good on our S&J engine. I was certainly impressed with their customer service. Time will tell if the engine itself holds up, but I'm hopeful.

thanks,
Karen
