I do not think guests can make the camera move. If you find out that you
can, please return it to center when you are finished.

I think it was in 04 or so . at the balloon rally, you had a camera at the
tech presentations.
This could work well for GMCES, and GMCWS rally's
(they do not hold our tech information HOSTAGE:>)
think i will try it at a class this summer.
let me know the best camera for the job
be well

wow kind of cool. and yep you can move camera. I was trying to reset to center when somebody else logged in and took over. I just exited while it was moving on its own. I want one for the house I can not see out the end of my house with the big garage door that would work well.

Once you replace everything that is attached to something else. It will all be fixed.

That camera is just an older Foscam brand one that I have had around for a few years. A few years back I had another one looking out of the 2nd floor window of the Passenger Terminal building at my local airport. The airport manager replaced mine with a Linksys brand one and added 3 more inside. The inside ones are on the private network. The outside one is still public. He also uses the outside one at night to look at snow accumulation after hours.
I haven't looked at it in several years.
It might be accessible from:

| If you are going to set one up you need to think about a few things.
1. How much bandwidth does a single user receiving both video and audio take?
2. It there will be more that 3 viewers, then how much bandwidth is available? I can tell you now, the answer is not enough.
3. Do you have access to the router configuration. You are going to have to configure a port to allow inbound access to the camera. With some camera and some routers this can be fixed with UPNP, but you better test it first.
4. Latency in delivery is also a problem. The amount of latency is not a problem but the stability of the latency sure is. Anything over about 30 ms. will affect the quality of your delivery.
If you are going to support more the 3, or 5, or so end users, then you need to find some place to host a server that takes in each packet and then broadcasts it out to 10, or 15, or 50 concurrent users. That is why the server we set up inside that ISP was so nice.
Good Luck with your experiment.
