I get to have a short trip next weekend, It will be first camping trip with freezing temps at night.
My fridge, it came with some type of heater. Directions say to hook to battery if running fridge in cold temps. Norcld 641.3 Does anyone have and use this? will fridge die if I dont use? Will this thing kill a battery if I do use it?
any input is appreciated.

it was an add on option just like the ice maker was an add on piece. I did not request the add on, but it came non the less.
it appears to be similiar to a small heat tape.
