OK, stupid question. How do I get to them??

I've got the dash facia panel and lower dash panels off. Remove one of the gauges?

Thanks!

Remove the rear cover over the instrument panel. Two Phillips head screws in the outside corners, gently lift it up and very carefully bend it out of the way. It is fragile and not easy to replace. Before you re-install it, cut the plastic away from the left hand corner to allow it to flex. Bulbs are behind the instruments, simple twist lock. Replacements are are your favorite auto store.

I have to do some work behind the dash as well. I understand about modifying the cover after removing it for the first time. That makes it easier to remove on subsequent removals. But what about the first time? Do you bend it gently and hold your breath? Is there a prayer than needs to be said?

One of the best feel-good projects is to replace the dash panel lights with the kit from Len and Eric. Replace the labels and the lights and you’ll feel like a real hero. It was one of the first projects I did on the coach and it still makes me feel good to look at those lights!

Yes, you need to pray Smile ...lift the right side up first and hold it up just to clear the top before trying to flex that left corner over the padding. It will also help if you warm the padding with a hair dryer to make it more flexible and direct the extra heat to that corner of the dash cover.
