Anyone have an extra original style faucet from a parts coach they would part with? I'd like to have one to demonstrate how to repair them at rallies. Doesn't matter if it's rusty or dinged up.

The wife probably would not appreciate me taking ours apart or people trouping through the bathroom.... Shocked Laughing

Joe's faucet is from a dry bath model and is different. Still looking for the standard bathroom faucet from a GMC wet bath. Condition unimportant.

Kerry,

Replaced the old faucet with this for the sink,

and this for the shower,

the water temp is more easily controlled with a single lever faucet.

Very happy with the change.

I realize that adding a separate shower faucet might be a more elegant solution. BUT, if the original setup can be made new again for a few bucks in Orings, it will save someone having to tear walls down in order to run new lines and mount a new shower faucet.

I'm still looking for an original faucet with the built in diverter so I can set up a demo table at rallys. Surely someone has one????

I'll bet there's one in the 73 Sequoia that Devin is parting out. Wish we had remembered that a couple weeks ago when he was taking parts off it.
