Anyone know what happened to JimK's website?

<http://www.appliedgmc.com/>

I get some kind of generic site.

Of course it could be my computer.

Looks like he forgot to renew the domain name. According to "whois", the domain name expired 2-28-12 and that domain name/site is now locked. He needs to renew it asap before some speculator buys the name and then wants to sell it back to him.

Whois shows that the domain was updated just today. Most likely a registrar
problem.

[Domain Name: APPLIEDGMC.COM
Registrar: ENOM, INC.
Whois Server: whois.enom.com
Referral URL: http://www.enom.com
Name Server: DNS1.NAME-SERVICES.COM
Name Server: DNS2.NAME-SERVICES.COM
Name Server: DNS3.NAME-SERVICES.COM
Name Server: DNS4.NAME-SERVICES.COM
Name Server: DNS5.NAME-SERVICES.COM
Status: clientTransferProhibited
Updated Date: 29-feb-2012
Creation Date: 28-feb-2003
Expiration Date: 28-feb-2013]

Should be back up shortly.

There's a lot of grace and redemption time built into the system. Unless someone goes out of business or falls asleep for 72 days, it's unlikely.

The website is back up and working. It seems like JimK paid for the renewal with Korean dollars by mistake Smile
