Hi ya'll. I've been off this board for a while.

This 77 just showed up on the Raleigh Craigslist.

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/rvs/2863309974.html

I'm road tripping in that area this weekend. If asked I could probably be persuaded to have a look and take detailed photos.

Looks nice, must have started life as a transmode though (the windows
are way different then a "regular" 26 foot unit in my opinion.

This GMC was at an auction for months, I kept bidding on it and never reached the minimum bid. It was a charity donation and required a dealer license to buy it.

Evidently it is at a new auction house, they have done nothing to it but put the flat tire back on the front and the spare on the back. They will not even turn the key and see if it runs.

I would love to buy it, but can't convince my wife Sad

So do you think it's worth $3K?

Dave, Looks can be deceiving, but I would look at it for that price. You want to go Saturday or Sunday?

I think it can be had for less, I may be shooting myself in the foot here, but finances are keeping me from it.

It does have alcoas, the front passenger tire is flat, it had the spare on it at the first auction house, for some reason they put the alcoa back on it with a flat.

The fridge looks like a newer Norcold and the the stove/oven looks newer.

Those are the things I wanted from it, I had planned on swapping them with mine, and selling it.

I am not sure if it runs, they won't try to start it.
Could be a good thing could be bad, if it runs and drives 3K is a good deal, if it needs engine or transmission 3K is too high.

I do have access to a lowboy and tractor, but no winch, I would still buy it if I could, but my wife and I spent too much on wine this past weekend in California.....

I called. The seller says he is having a mechaninc mess with it today to get it running.

I'll check with him tomorrow to see how he made out.
