Hi All:We have a 1976 Royale RB w/455.

We replaced the leaking heater core and then couldn't get any cabin heat. There was no flow through the new heater core. - many tests etc. We had replaced the vacuum valve in the 5/8 line with a ball valve because, up-'till-then, our major problem was too much cabin heat even when trying to "Air Condition". At a suggestion from Alonzo at Jim K's we put a shut off valve in the hose to the water heater (heat exchanger Now we have hot water circulating through the heater core BUT still no hot air coming into the cabin. Is there a special combination of dash controls to enable this.

Thanks,

Jack Kincaid, Castro Valley, CA

Jack,

Clarify "we replaced". Did you do it? Are you sure you (or the replacer)
didn't disconnect the temperature control cable at the driver's side of the
HVAC box?
