Here it is, Dec.3, 2021. GMC CASCADERS RALLY at Anacortes, Washington. 37°
Farenheit outside. About 10 coaches present, and a few staying in Wonderful
Cabins that didn't bring their coaches. Weather is Broken clouds predicted
to be sun and clouds all day. We are parked right on the edge of Puget
Sound. Yesterday at first light there was a flock of "Helldivers" feeding
on small minnows maybe 20 yards in front of our coach. They swam into a
circle about 50 feet in diameter and concentrated a school of minnows ,
then dove under and feasted on fish. Fascinating to watch. Not much rally
stuff went on yesterday.
Today, we will have tech sessions, and craft sessions as well as
"Driving miss Daisy" sessions that are geared towards some ladies that
would like to learn how to drive these coaches. Continental breakfast
starts in a few minutes. Covid cautions apply here. We had some
cancellations due to members not being vaccinated. Crazy times, but
necessary. More to follow.

Well here is the Friday recap at the GMC CASCADERS RALLY. Darned cold
outside. Cold wind blowing down from Canada. In the high 30°-low-40° all
day, so not much outside activity. Seminars included how to find leaks
using a high velocity fan and dish washing detergent. Where it bubbles, it
leaks. Also painting craft classes for the ladies, I did a seminar on fuel
injection, and another member did one on remodeling the interior to suit
your needs. Usual Happy hour, drinks and snacks and conversations. Followed
by pizza and salad. More chatting, and games followed by a tired bunch
headed for warm beds after a cold winter day. Good times.
