Yesterday was mine and Judy's 7th wedding anniversary. (Very Good) But, it
occurred in the middle of a Pandemic, the likes of which our country has
never experienced before. (Bad).
Judy loves flowers, so I called my trusty local florist, and found
that they were open, kinda. They were taking orders over the phone and
internet, for delivery or customer pick-up at the store only. No customers
were allowed into the store, masks or no masks. (Bad). I chose to pick up
Judy's flowers from the store. But pick up in today's pandemic means
something different than it used to. They had a table set up under their
entrance awning. I had to call the store when I was approaching their
address, and they would scurry out, place the order on the table, then
after they had retreated a "government approved" safe distance, I could
then approach the table and retrieve my order. (Definitely weird, but I
don't know whether it was good or bad)
End result, Judy got her flowers, (Good)
As Bob Dylan so aptly puts it, "Times, they are a'changin "
Stay safe out there and be kind to each other. We are all we got.
