The coaches differ greatly on waste tanks depending upon factors like
bathroom and kitchen locations, year models, which upfitter finished them,
and I am probably leaving out several other exceptions.
I used to work on quite a few of them, but now I limit myself to ONLY
WORKING ON REPLACEMENT of old stuff with brand new tanks, and all
downstream drain plumbing, mascerator installs with all new plumbing.
Dealing with 40 year old cracked plastic has taught me quite a bit.
All I need to know, in fact, about waste tanks in GMCs.
DON'T TOUCH THEM. NOT NOW, NOT NEVER.
You guys do as you wish.

What Hupy said. I patched one around the outlet with fiberglass and epoxy resin but it was a total bitch to get the material claen so the patch would stick. Which it did. Working through the drain hole I was. Waaaay better off to fit a new tank when the existing one begins to harden.!
