I drove up to Superior Sunday and looked over the 23Ft Birchaven. The photos are here :
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/23-ft-coach-in-superior/p54329-img-1757.html

The pictures don't look all that great but I think this is a very solid unmolested coach. The frame is good as is the 403 engine. The relatively new airbags are inside the coach and the compressor probably needs replacement. The carpeting, drapes and uphostery are god awfull but that's stuff you would replace anyway. The roof is in good condition and the awning is one I've never seen before. The seller Tom is an amazing guy that builds scary motorcycles. He and his wife are delightful people and I feel he is representing this coach very truthfully. Personally i think the $4500 price is well worth it.

Is that an old railroad observation car in the shed next to the GMC? A man with definitely eclectic interests!

Bob,

Looks like the coach was re-carpeted in the eighties, and there is hardware store paneling on both sides of the bathroom. Do you think the rear twins were a factory job, or part of a remodel? Just curious.

Thanks,

76 Birchaven - "Wicked Mistress" - New engine, trans, alum radiator, brakes, Sully airbags, fuel lines, seats, adult beverage center... those Coachmen guys were really thinking about us second hand owners by including that beverage center... Columbia, SC.

Yes it is--they shipped it up from Florence and then built the shed roof over it.

Thanks,

I really can't tell if the beds are original or not. They measure 72 x 30. Since it is a Coachman interior, it's hard to tell what has been modified.
