one takes just links.

As MOST GMCnet'ers access the forum by the TEXT ONLY email list, pictures are NOT sent with the message. There are advantages to a text only system... but a lot fewer features.
The Web Based On-Line Forum <http://gmc.mybirdfeeder.net/GMCforum> is a MIRROR of the email list. (The eMail list is considered the "senior" service of the two.) It is amazing how well these system work with each other.
You CAN post pictures on the on-line forum. If the picture is stored on a website SOMEWHERE, pictures can be embedded into the post and not take any real storage on the Forum server. (It would be best to store them on the GMC picture site to reduce the chance of picture loss. <http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/index.php> )
Anyone posting pictures on the on-line forum should include a text link to the picture so the eMail types can see the picture. (They'll have to click on it...)
If everyone used the on-line forum, the last step would not be required, but we would loose a large number of contributers that "cling" to their email list.
But please do not embed large pictures, clip them when quoting, and keep them out of your sig. (unless very small)
