Wasn't there an alternate color combination for some of the Palm Beach models (I seem to remember a darker combination in some picture)?

Mine is the Frosted Mint color - really has aged to a pale chalky finish from all the years outside.
Someday it will change!

George,

I wish I had taken some before and after photos of my '76 Palm Beach.
It was, as you described, a pale chalky green, but after I had it
buffed that old paint improved greatly.

Wax on, wax off. You'll be amazed how much color is left on the old
girl.

Parrot Green was offered on 1973 Sequoia's and (believe it or not) Glaciers. I understand it was the first color dropped from the line-up. I have seen a few... Now that is green!

I could be wrong, but I understand the Palm Beach was also offered in white and yellow. (At least in one year.) They just didn't sell many. Hot Wheels made them in many colors.

I suspect the White was special order. Never saw or hear of yellow and
doubt it was a color choice.

I have a white Palm Beach sitting behind my barn (belongs to my brother). On the options list in the glove box, it shows the white listed as an option.

Palm Beach was available in either Green or white, sometines a badly oxidized Frosted Mint looks yellowish (78 two tone green).

Parrot green was officially only available in 1973. I have seen 2 or 3 EARLY 1974s with parrot green, I have learned to never say never!

Gahh. I thought it was called "pea grean" Nothing like the "Puke Tan" of my Coach.

Was that also the color of the EM-50? Best I can tell it was a PB.

Someday my coach will be pearl white with slate grey trim...

If you order the paint in Dupont Centari it goes over the Imeron fine and lays up really nicely. You need the paint, reducer and the catalyst (smallest size). Be sure to clean the gun before it kicks. I posted some pics this summer of where I touched up areas when I computer reproduced the tape stripes and restriped the 77 EII.
