Just ordered a FItech system for the coach and found this rebate good from March 1st till May 31st. Good for a $100.00 if anybody is looking at this upgrade

Is this the unit that you ordered?

http://www.jegs.com/p/FITech-Fuel-Injection/FiTech-Go-EFI-4-600-HP-Throttle-Body-Systems/3525618/10002/-1

After watching the install video it almost seems too easy. This is definitely getting bookmarked and put on my to-do list right after finding a GMC of my own.

Yup that's it ordered the black unit as the silver is out of stock Jerry Work has installed one and seems very pleased with its operation. I will post how it performs after I get the coach out of winter storage probably won't be out of storage before mid April

Out of curiosity are you also using their "Fuel Command Center" for vehicles still using a mechanical fuel pump or have you already ungraded your GMC to an electric fuel pump?

If you don't use the fuel command center, you'll need a fuel return line as well.

I won't be using the fuel command center as I am replacing a EFI system and already have a high pressure pump and a return line (AirSensor system)

Just a 'what I did' note, I added a fuel return line (I have a three port
mechanical fuel pump) with a fitting on the fuel fill line. Piece of cake.

I'm thinking about this to improve drivability. I'm torn between re-jetting
the Q-Jet richer for the blended fuel we have or just leaping forward. The
carb I've got is in pretty good shape, but this is the only vehicle I've
got without FI, and I may be spoiled.

I have an air sensors system too, have used it on 2 cars before. Worked well. Did you have a problem with it or just upgrading?

Just tired of dealing with the cold start issues does not like to work in cold weather without fiddling with the control box. Once it's running works pretty good thru all the operating ranges it is just the cold start that bugs me, and I want to move into this century.
